Although my décor is normally very neutral in color, during the holiday's I decided to add a pop of red to the décor.
I added hand painted pillows trimmed with red and crème ticking fabric to add a festive feel to the bedding.
You can obviously see which side of the bed is mine!!
My husband switched the pillows just before this shot. I told you he was the naughty one.
The little tree with small red bells and the ticking rag wreath help to add to the festive look.
Vintage soda bottles filled with cut berries from the property bring new life to the sugar mold.
This little corner of the bedroom welcomes you with fun gnomes seated in these vintage chairs.
Here we have our antique iron bed which has been in my husbands family for several generations. I decided that a more vibrant red would work here.
Buffalo check pillows combine well with the vintage white crochet pillows. The throw is a DIY project because I couldn't find a throw for this area.
I love the red against the black iron bed frame.
The tray is filled with a copper tea pot, old books and a small tree. All ready for an overnight guest.
Even the night stand is filled with oversized Christmas ornaments.
I hope you enjoyed this view of our bedrooms decked out for the holidays.
